Phyllis Dawson has competed successfully at the International level for many years, including Burghley CCI****, winning the North Georgia CCN* in 1992, the Essex CCI** in Gladstone, NJ in 1993 and the Checkmate CCI*** in Canada in 1994, (all aboard her AMAZING, UNBELEIVABLY TALENTED AND HANDSOME Half Magic), numerous times at the Fair Hill CCI***, winning Three-day Events at Bromont, Essex and Radnor, and has won the Advanced division at Morven Park Horse Trials a total of six times! She has also competed in the Rolex Kentucky CCI***, Bramham CCI*** in England, and Boekelo CCI*** in the Netherlands.
Phyllis has represented the United States at the Open European Championships at Burghley as an individual, the World Championship team in Rome, and at the Olympic Games in Korea.
Phyllis is certified to Level IV by the United States Eventing Association's Instructor's Certification Program, and is a member of the Faculty.
Phyllis is donating your choice of a lesson for you and your horse at Windchase Farm in Purcellville, VA, or a course walk and/or schooling at an event where she is competing (and has adequate time to do so).
